Ferrara
Land and Water
Elegance and beauty translated into an urban space take the name of Ferrara
The perfect synthesis of the Renaissance ideal, Ferrara has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1995. In 1999, this prestigious award was extended to the surrounding area of the Po Delta, which is a spectacular natural area where the town of Comacchio is well worth visiting. A smaller version of Venice, it is crossed by a network of canals and seventeenth-century bridges, overlooked by pastel-coloured houses. In such an unspoilt place we could not fail to mention the charming Thermae Oasis spa, as magical as the valleys surrounding it.
